Someones footsteps can be seen embedded in the heavy mud. That August summer morning a heavy mist enveloped the scene and visibility was very low initially, but the resulting colours that were created as the mist started to clear at sunrise were a lovely diffused orange.<br><br> The image was captured using the Canon EOS 20D using the Canon EFS 10-22mm f/3.4-4.5 USM lens set to f22 for 1.6 seconds at ISO 100 under manual control. A mist ebbed and flowed along the Blackwater estuary and I could see a resident swan moving toward these two boats. I framed the picture and waited until the swan was in the right place before taking the picture. That morning, I was also visited by a curious seal that swam right up to my legs. In order to capture the image, I had my trousers rolled up and was barefoot, slipping around on the smooth surface, Fortunately the water was quite warm.<br><br> The image was captured using the Fuji FinePix S7000 camera for 1/100 of a second set to f8 at ISO 200 under manual control. morning, looking out toward Tower Bridge in the City of London. This is the scene as it presented itself, with a lovely purple come pink wispy sky casting a glow across the whole image. The Tower of London and City Hall are presented in the scene, creating a juxtaposition of old and new architectures.<br><br> The image was captured using the Canon EOS 20D using the Canon EFS 10-22mm f/3.4-4.5 USM lens set to f25 for 20 seconds at ISO 100 under manual control. The capture was set to RAW. Cokin Neutral Density graduated filters were used to ensure a more balanced exposure. Post capture processing was performed using Phase One, Capture One and Adobe Photoshop Elements. Dawn on Good Friday morning, looking out toward Tower Bridge in the City of London. The ancient rocks weathered by the continous action of the sea can be seen with the surface pitted everwhere as though a mighty creature had walked across it leaving its footprints everywhere. The sun has set and the tide is fast approaching. The long exposure that was required to capture the detail caused the moving waters to take on that ethereal, misty look.<br><br> The image was captured using the Canon EOS 20D using the Canon EFS 10-22mm f/3.4-4.5 USM lens set to f22 for just over a minute (bulb) at ISO 100 under manual control.
